Under Improving Rural livelihoods enhancing food security and building climate resilience in Sri Lanka Project in last year we selected 25 farmers. We conducted a training program on Value adding for the farmers. Mr. Basnayaka (Technical officer from Cathy rich) was the resource person from Cathy rich food processing center. Farmers gained good knowledge – how to make different products from food items at Cathy rich food processing center memorial center is a self-employment training institute. We held this program at Cathy Rich food processing memorial center in Embilipitiya.
